General Home Inspection
The general home inspection follows the New York State Standards of Practice and include the following sections as applicable to the inspected home; site conditions, structural systems, exterior, roof systems, plumbing systems, electrical system, heating system, air conditioning (when applicable), interior, insultation and ventilation, attics.
Thermal Imaging used in all residential home inspections.

Example Report This report is an example from the software company that is used. Local reports are not used as an example due to protection of customer privacy.
Radon Testing
This is an non invasive test that requires testing over 3 days. Radon testing is not included in the general home inspection. The only way to know if your home has high radon levels is to test it. Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among people who do not smoke. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer for people who do. One Year Check Up
Did you purchase a home with a warranty? Prior to your warranty expiring it is beneficial to have a home inspection by a NYS Licensed Inspector.
Well Water Quality Test
If you own a well it is recommended by the Department of Health to have your water tested routinely. FHA Loan water test are also available. Water testing is for home inspection clients. We do not do water testing as an individual service. Click here for more info
Pre- Listing inspection.
Getting a home inspection can help identify issues before your home hits the market. Your home inspection report is legally yours and can not be shared with anyone else.
